Suprema - a family business with history

history & management

Ariel Cukierman is the second generation to lead the family business, which was founded in 1953.

The corporate philosophy is based on maintaining long-term business relationships, both with customers and suppliers.

Until the late 1980s, Suprema was a fully integrated knitwear factory with production in Berlin. The machines were later relocated to Eastern Europe. This is where the contract processing began, while yarn purchasing, design, technology and administration are still carried out by qualified employees from Berlin.

Suprema was one of the first companies to import yarns from both China and Turkey to Bangladesh

and is a founding member of the Bangladesh Accord - the agreement on fire and building safety in Bangladesh. The Building Safety Agreement is a milestone for the industry because it was the first to create a legally binding agreement to protect the health and safety of employees.
